The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced that it has issued the necessary authorization for the sale of military weapons to Saudi Arabia. According to this institution, the US Congress has been involved in the sale of these weapons to Saudi Arabia.
The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency statement said that the said arms sale enhances the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ability to prevent current and future threats by providing training support and supporting the existing platforms and aircraft fleet of the Saudi Air Force.
