The unveiling of Trump’s peace plan to end the conflict in Ukraine in the coming months

PNN – Trump’s representative for Ukraine announced in an interview that in the coming months they will present a plan to end the war in Ukraine.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Reuters, Keith Kellogg, Donald Trump’s representative on Ukraine affairs, said the United States wants Ukraine to hold elections, possibly by the end of this year, especially if Kiev can reach an agreement with Russia on a ceasefire in the coming months.

Kellogg said in an interview that the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine should be held as soon as possible, which were previously suspended due to the war with Russia.

He said: Most of the democratic countries have their elections during the war. I think it is important that they (Ukraine) do this. I think this is good for democracy.

Both Trump and Kellogg have said they are working on a peace plan in the coming months to end the war in Ukraine, but have yet to provide details on the plan.

US President Donald Trump claimed in an interview with reporters on Friday night local time that he is conducting “very serious consultations” with Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine.

Trump stated: We have very serious discussions and consultations about that war (Ukraine) and we are trying to end it with Russia.

Earlier, in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the US president said: I would really like to be able to meet with Putin soon to end this war.

The American president went on to say that the issue of the war in Ukraine is no longer about the economy or other matters, and said: From the point of view that the lives of millions of people are being destroyed as a result of this war, it must be ended.
