The US confirmed Tel Aviv’s responsibility for the Al-Arouri assassination.

The US confirmed Tel Aviv’s responsibility for the Al-Arouri assassination.
The New York Times reported, citing two US officials, that the Zionist regime is responsible for the airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, which led to the assassination of Saleh Al-Arouri, deputy head of Hamas’ political office.

One official noted that this attack “will likely be the first of many covert attacks carried out by Israel against Hamas leaders.”

Saleh al-Arouri and two leaders of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, were assassinated in an explosion on Tuesday night in the Al-Mashrefieh area in the southern suburb of Beirut as a result of an Israeli drone attack on a Hamas office there.

Axios: Israel did not inform the US before al-Arouri’s assassination

Axios cited senior US officials as saying that the Zionist regime was behind the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri, but did not inform the United States in advance.

The American website added that the occupiers did not give the United States prior notice of this assassination operation, but at the time of the operation, the Biden administration informed the US president.

This comes as the Wall Street Journal also reported last month, citing Zionist officials, that the occupiers’ intelligence services are preparing to track and assassinate Hamas leaders around the world, especially in Qatar, Lebanon, and Turkey.

Zionist officials said that at the order of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, intelligence is developing plans to track Hamas leaders, especially in Lebanon, Turkey, and Qatar.

The newspaper had confirmed that this was likely the beginning of a decade of secret Israeli operations worldwide.
