The US Secretary of State’s latest stance against Iran and Yemen’s Ansarullah.
According to Al Jazeera, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claimed: We will not allow the Houthis to control the passage of ships and our attacks will continue until their offensive capability is destroyed.
Claiming to target Yemen’s Ansar Allah, he said: I do not think that a ground operation against them is necessary.
The US Secretary of State claimed: The attacks were a message to Iran to stop supporting the Houthis. Iran will be responsible for the Houthi attacks on ships if it does not stop supporting them. Trump has mentioned Iran because Iran has supported the Houthis and provided them with information and weapons. If it were not for Iran’s support, the Houthis would not have been able to carry out the attacks.
Previously, the US National Security Advisor and the US Secretary of Defense made similar claims.
