PNN – Reuters news agency wrote: The US Senate will vote on Wednesday on a law that will prevent arms sales to Israel.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reuters added: The law is backed by lawmakers who say Israel has blocked the flow of much-needed aid to Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
“Resolutions of disapproval” were introduced by Bernie Sanders, an independent US senator who works with the Democratic Party.
According to Reuters, strong bipartisan support for Israel means that these resolutions are not expected to pass, but supporters hope that the resolutions will encourage the US government and the Israeli cabinet to take more supportive measures for Gaza.

A third resolution, sponsored by Democratic Sen. Brian Schatz, would block the sale of tank shells.
In October, the Biden administration told the Israeli regime that it had 30 days to improve the flow of aid to Gaza or risk the consequences of US military aid.
After this deadline, Washington claimed that progress had been made in this field, but many aid workers rejected it.
Democratic Senators Chris Von Hollen and Elizabeth Warren have said they support the resolutions.
