The US, the Zionist regime and Türkiye’s efforts to achieve ambitious goals in Syria.
According to the Al-Khanadeq website, less than a week after the ceasefire between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, a new sedition with the repeated tool of terrorism began in Syria, and the American-Zionist axis dragged the battles from Lebanon to Syria, especially in the outskirts of Aleppo and Idlib.
It seems that the revival of the terrorist sedition in northern Syria is a new test through which the ability of the United States and the Zionist regime to repeat the Syrian crisis can be measured. In the meantime, an important question that arises is why the terrorist attack on Syria began a day after the ceasefire in Lebanon, and was this intentional or accidental, and why has the war been dragged back to Syria?
America’s Sedition in Syria with the Repeated Card of Terrorism
In a situation where the Zionist regime, after more than a year and despite enjoying unlimited support from the West and the United States, has not achieved any significant military victory against the resistance, whether in Gaza or Lebanon, the American-Zionist axis has concluded that it is necessary to unleash terrorism in the suburbs of Aleppo, to plunge Syria, a country that has been facing all kinds of sedition and sanctions for more than a decade, into a new crisis, so that this country and its people stop supporting the resistance and surrender to the projects of the American axis.
What is happening now in Syria is the insane expansion of a war that the Zionist regime launched to push the region into insecurity and instability, and its goal is to create a “new Middle East” according to the considerations of the Zionist project. However, global Zionism, of which the West and the United States are considered its arms, is the spearhead of this destructive project in the region.
Those who are familiar with the developments in Syria will realize that the sedition that terrorists have now started from northern Syria to reach the entire country is a repetition of the scenario that the United States, along with its Western allies and regional allies, had designed in 2011, and with the tools of terrorism, led by ISIS, intended to create its regional system by overthrowing the Syrian regime.
A player in the puzzle of the American-Zionist sedition
In the meantime, we know that the issue of terrorist attacks on northern Syria has various dimensions that have not yet been resolved, and it is no secret to anyone that the terrorist groups in the outskirts of Aleppo and Idlib are managed by Turkey, and Qatar is responsible for financing them on the orders of the United States. This means that Turkey is not thinking of withdrawing from northern Syria and is seeking to create a buffer zone 30 kilometers deep along the Syrian borders and send the Kurds into Syria.
Therefore, it is quite clear that northern Iraq will not be safe from Turkey’s greed. The repeated attacks that Turkey carries out under the pretext of bombing the Kurdistan Workers’ Party forces in northern Iraq are evidence of the claim that Turkey seeks to dominate northern Iraq and northern Syria. But the main question is to what extent have Turkey and the United States agreed on this issue?
It is also necessary to point out here that Turkey’s support for the Zionist regime did not stop over the past year when this regime launched a brutal war against Gaza and then Lebanon. While Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took very harsh and decisive positions against the Zionists and in support of Gaza, Ankara’s cooperation with Tel Aviv in various dimensions not only continued; but also expanded, especially in the commercial sphere. Erdogan thought that with the cooperation of the Americans and the Zionists, he could play an important regional role in several fields.
Therefore, anyone with a little political and military intelligence will realize that the recent terrorist attack on northern Syria and the attempt to occupy this region is not a coincidence; Rather, it was a completely planned event whose organizers, taking advantage of the world’s preoccupation with the Gaza war and then the ceasefire in Lebanon, tried to try their luck to repeat the terrorism conspiracy in Syria.
America’s miscalculations in reviving the terrorism crisis
Also, the American-Zionist axis, which planned to repeat this sedition in Syria, thinking that Russia’s involvement in the war in Ukraine would prevent Moscow from paying attention to developments in Syria, decided to once again use the terrorism card to advance their goals in Syria and the entire region.
Washington and Tel Aviv thought that in the shadow of the Ukrainian war, the Russian Air Force would neglect Syria, and therefore the Turkish army and the Zionist regime could carry out heavy air strikes on Syria as before 2015; especially since the resistance axis is currently engaged in the Gaza war.
But the Zionists and Americans, in their miscalculations, may have forgotten that the conditions in the region are very different from 2011 when the United States was able to easily escalate the terrorism crisis in Syria and that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Storm not only never weakened the strength of the resistance axis; but also that during these years, the resistance, both in terms of military and popular support, has been much stronger than in the previous decade; especially since the public opinion of the nations of the region, and especially Syria, is well aware of the dimensions of the conspiracy designed by the American-Western-Zionist axis, and they are not fooled by the enemy’s game as they were in 2011.
We cannot say with certainty whether the Syrian government and army were prepared to confront the terrorist attack on the north of the country and whether they anticipated it or not. However, the fact that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad repeatedly rejected Erdogan’s request for a meeting and emphasized that “his meeting with Erdogan is only conditional on Turkey’s complete withdrawal from northern Syria” means that Damascus was not unaware of the developments in northern Syria.
