PNN – In a statement, Martin Griffiths, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, limited himself to sympathizing with the Palestinian families and said: In the past six months, the war has brought death, destruction, and now possibly a shameful man-made famine to the people of Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the United Nations website, Martin Griffiths, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, said in a statement about the Gaza war that the world has reached a terrible turning point.
He continued: In the past six months, the war has brought death, destruction and now probably a shameful man-made famine to the people of Gaza.
It is stated in this statement: This war takes more civilian victims every day. With every second that passes, this conflict becomes more ambiguous. As I and many others have said many times, the end of this war is long overdue.
Griffiths said in this statement: “No one is safe in the Gaza Strip and there is no safe place to take refuge.” The relief operation is getting weaker every day.
In his statement, this UN official limited himself to expressing his sympathy with the Palestinian families and the survivors of the Zionist attacks and stated that collective action must be taken to prevent this betrayal against humanity.
Following the Al-Aqsa storm operation on the 7th of October, the Zionist army launched an all-out attack on the Gaza Strip, as a result of which more than 30,000 people were martyred, most of them women and children.
