PNN – France’s Foreign Ministry announced the holding of an international conference in support of the Lebanese army with the participation of the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera, reported that the French Foreign Ministry said it has reached an agreement with Washington, Riyadh, and Beirut to hold an international conference to support the Lebanese army next February.

Stating that we are closely monitoring the situation in southern Lebanon and are calling for de-escalation, Paris limited itself to verbal condemnation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on Lebanon.
According to the statement, today’s meeting in Paris reviewed ways to support the Lebanese army in its efforts to control weapons in the country.
The French Foreign Ministry said the aim of the conference is to implement the ceasefire agreement, claiming that this step includes the disarmament of Hezbollah.
The statement added that if there is a need to delay the deadline for Hezbollah’s disarmament, the matter will be discussed with the parties to the agreement.
