The White House is hopeless about a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.

According to Al Jazeera, although the United States, as the self-proclaimed mediator in the process of Gaza peace talks, always talks about the nearness of the agreement between the Zionist regime and the Hamas movement, the White House officials are well aware of the excesses of Tel Aviv and the insistence of this regime on the remaining of its troops in Gaza is the main reason for the failure of negotiations.

Based on this, informed American officials, who did not want to be named, told the Axios news website: The White House is pessimistic about the parties to the conflict reaching a peace agreement and establishing a ceasefire in Gaza shortly.

The White House is now reassessing its strategy to reach a cease-fire agreement in Gaza, Axios reports, quoting informed officials.

A senior American official said: We are now in a very difficult period. White House officials are now saddened and disappointed. We are still working on a ceasefire agreement, but the truth is that nothing is going to be delivered shortly. We are in a difficult situation now.

The American officials, who did not want to be named due to the sensitivity of the matter, emphasize: The senior advisors of Joe Biden, the President of the United States, are now very pessimistic about the process of peace negotiations and believe that we are not going to see an agreement between the parties shortly.

These officials say: the death of 6 Zionist prisoners in Gaza, Hamas’ request for the release of 100 more Palestinian prisoners, and Israel’s request for its troops to remain in the Philadelphia corridor are among the things that have brought the negotiations to a dead end.
