The White House on Friday accused President Vladimir Putin of making “incredibly dangerous” threats.

According to France 24, White House spokesperson Karin Jean-Pierre reacted to the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who threatened NATO after speculations about the possible issuance of a license to Ukraine to use foreign long-range missiles against Russia.

The spokesman of the White House was speaking on the eve of the meeting between Joe Biden, the President of Ukraine, and Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of England, and the conversation between the heads of the two countries regarding the issuance of a license to use Western weapons for Kyiv to attack Russian territory. In response to Putin’s statements, he said: This tone is extremely dangerous.

In threatening statements about issuing such a license to Ukraine, Putin said: “This action means that NATO members, the United States and European countries are at war with Russia directly.”

The Russian president added that “NATO countries are not only discussing the possible use of Western long-range weapons by Kyiv but are also considering whether to directly intervene in the conflict in Ukraine.”

Putin also emphasized that the direct involvement of the West in the Ukraine conflict will change the nature of this war, and Russia will be forced to make decisions based on the threats it poses to Moscow.
