The working conditions of aid workers in Gaza are unbearable’
According to Al Jazeera, Stephane Dujarric, the spokesman of the UN Secretary General, complained about the deplorable conditions in Gaza for aid workers.
Accordingly, Dujarric told reporters: “We have asked Israel to have more effective cooperation with aid groups in Gaza and to allow the United Nations to use necessary security equipment.” Also, our request to the Israeli army is to facilitate the process of providing aid to the people of Gaza.
He pointed out: Unfortunately, humanitarian operations in Gaza have been repeatedly targeted by the Israeli army. Now the relief efforts in Gaza have become dangerous, and if I’m being honest, downright unbearable.
Dujarric added: We are checking the conditions on a daily basis in order to distribute humanitarian aid in Gaza. This action is done in the first step for the security of the UN staff and in the next step for the security of the recipients of these aids.
The Zionist regime has repeatedly bombed the places of distribution of relief aid to the Palestinians and killed civilians.
Since the beginning of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, 273 aid workers have lost their lives in the bombing of the Zionist forces in this area, of which 193 were members of the An Rowa organization.
