The world’s oldest prisoner’s message to Palestinians after his release.
According to Al Jazeera, Nael al-Barghouthi, who is considered the oldest prisoner in Palestine and the world, was released as part of the seventh phase of the prisoner exchange after the resistance handed over the bodies of four Zionist prisoners.
Nael al-Barghouthi sent a message after his release, expressing his gratitude to all those who worked for his release, and while thanking the men, women, children and the elderly, the fighters and commanders in the Gaza Strip, he emphasized that he could never do justice to the sacrifices and sacrifices of the people of Gaza.
Al-Barghouthi, who was exiled to Egypt after his release, sent a message to the Palestinians and the freed people of the world, emphasizing that the main goal will remain the unity of the nation and the liberation of Palestine, and that his liberation will not be complete except with the liberation of Gaza and the entire Palestinian territory.
In another part of his message, he referred to his very difficult conditions during his long years of captivity and said, “Until my release, like other Palestinian prisoners, I was beaten and attacked with sharp objects, which caused fractures and wounds in my body. Even administrative prisoners in occupied prisons are treated as war criminals. Many Palestinian prisoners have suffered broken bones and severe injuries as a result of torture and beatings.”
Al-Barghouthi also emphasized: “The occupiers commit all kinds of abuses against Palestinian prisoners in order to relieve their anger at the resistance, but the Palestinians sacrifice their blood, lives, and leaders for the liberation of their country. The Zionist prison guards brutally treat Palestinian prisoners while their hands and feet are tied, which indicates the low moral and human level of the occupiers.”
This free Palestinian woman stated: “The blood of the martyrs of the resistance and its leaders will be entrusted to every Muslim, every Arab, and every free person in the world.” The resistance, led by the martyred Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, has proven its ability to confront the war machine of the occupying regime.
The oldest prisoner of Palestine and the world also said: The release of all prisoners is not equal to one of the children of Gaza who were martyred during the war, but the issue is about the liberation of the homeland, not the release of prisoners, and this is an issue that carries costs, and the people of Algeria, Vietnam and some other countries have already paid for it.
