According to the Pakistan News Network, Haaretz newspaper announced on Monday evening in a report: The Israeli army will start a committee of its high-ranking officers to investigate the reasons for the failure of the October 7 attack by Hamas.
In this internal investigation, which will begin next Sunday, the number of combat forces present on the day of the incident, the deployment and presence of the forces at the scene of the conflict, the manner of their deployment in the field, and the manner in which the conflict was conducted will be investigated.

According to this report, the beginning of the internal investigation in the army was approved after the disagreement and tension between the military and political levels of Israel has increased sharply and the political officials continued their attacks against the army’s elements, especially the Chief of General Staff, and blamed the army.
An investigation committee is supposed to be formed under the chairmanship of Colonel Yoaf Har Ayun, and the military attorney general will be a member of this committee, and the results and opinion of this committee will be provided to the army, so that it can be determined later whether the army prosecutor’s office should enter into this matter.
