The Zionist army’s rhetoric about the land invasion of Lebanese territory’

Citing Al Jazeera, the New York Times quoted a Zionist officer as saying that the Israeli army has deployed two brigades of its reserve forces in the border strip shared with Lebanon.

He further added: This action means that a ground attack will be a possible option.

The Washington Post also reported that the deployment of Zionist troops near the borders of Lebanon means preparation for a ground attack on this country.

This is even though analysts and former military officials of the Zionist regime have previously warned against any ground attack on Lebanese soil and the inability of the army of this regime to confront the forces of Hezbollah, especially the Rezvan unit.

The Chief of Staff of the Zionist Army, Herzi Halevi, also asked the ground forces to be ready to invade Lebanon.

This is even though analysts and former military officials of the Zionist regime have previously warned against any ground attack on Lebanese soil and the inability of the army of this regime to confront the forces of Hezbollah, especially the Rezvan unit.

The escalating conflict between Israeli forces and Hezbollah has displaced more than 90,000 people since September 23, according to the agency.

Filippo Grandi, the UNHCR chief, said earlier this week that the mass displacement was “yet another ordeal for families who had fled years of civil war in Syria … only now to be bombed in the country where they sought shelter”.

“The Middle East cannot afford a new displacement crisis. Let us not create one by forcing more people to abandon their homes,” he said.
