“Maqbul Abdallah al-Razi”, a resident of Beit Lahia village in northern Gaza, one of the mentioned workers told CNN about this: They beat us with batons and sticks. We were humiliated and then left to starve without food or water.

He added: I was one of thousands of workers from Gaza who had permission to work in the occupied territories, and soon after the war started, we fled with other workers to Rahat, a predominantly Arab town in southern Israel, but the local residents turned us over to the Israeli army.
