The Zionist regime’s new strategy in Africa to contain Yemen.

The Zionist regime’s new strategy in Africa to contain Yemen.

According to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, along with Sanaa’s decision to resume attacks on Israeli ships in the Red Sea as a result of the intensification of the siege of Gaza, many reports and studies by the Israeli and Western regimes that focused on evaluating the past stages and predicting the future stages of this battle were republished.

In this regard, writers and analysts believe that Sanaa’s entry into the war in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza has had a great impact on the course of developments and has put extensive pressure on the Israeli regime and has caused trouble for the United States and Britain, because they were unable to stop these attacks or even weaken their power.

“Danny Strinovich,” an analyst at the Israeli Academy of Homeland Security, believes that the movements of Israel and the international coalition against the Yemeni armed forces last year failed to create a balance of deterrence against this movement.

The Israelis initially counted on the American-British coalition to confront Yemen, but now they have made their strategy independent of these countries and have sought to strengthen the security system, which was specifically established to monitor developments in Yemen and collect technical, human and satellite information from all sources and authorities, especially the American and Western intelligence services.

In this regard, the Zionist regime has increased its presence in the African states adjacent to Yemen. This action, which seems to be pursued within the framework of Tel Aviv’s strategy for 2025, has made Ethiopia the main center of this plan. In this regard, the Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met with his Ethiopian counterpart Gideon Timothy and they discussed bilaterally what were described as the threats of Ansar Allah. At the end of this meeting, the two sides announced that “Ansar Allah of Yemen is a threat to Israel and Africa and the world order!”

Al-Akhbar adds that analysts opposed to Sanaa’s policies hope that during the reign of Donald Trump, Washington will adopt a different approach from former US President Joe Biden and make fundamental changes in its efforts to eliminate the Ansar Allah movement or destroy its regional power.

According to this report, Western, Israeli and Gulf experts and writers point out several important points in examining the current situation in the region:

– Sanaa’s entry into the front line in support of Gaza has given Yemen a fundamental position in the axis of resistance, and in this way, the presence of Ansar Allah in Iraq and the Horn of Africa has increased, and this country has become a regional power whose role in this war has inspired Arab and Islamic countries and liberation movements.

– Ansar Allah sees itself at the forefront of the axis of resistance, and as a result, this situation obliges it to help the resistance in the Gaza Strip, and thus it may enter into a direct war with Israel.

– A look at the speed of decision-making by Abdul Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah, in resuming attacks on Israeli ships shows that al-Houthi has become the center of gravity of the resistance after the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

The current situation requires Israel and the United States to reconsider their strategy for confronting Yemen. Research centers believe that they should focus on a long-term war and expand attacks on Yemen with devastating strikes on the country’s infrastructure and targeting top Ansar Allah leaders so that they can perhaps destroy internal solidarity among them. Attacking military infrastructure is another indicator of this strategy.
