PNN – Thousands of people took part in a demonstration in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, demanding the release and return of Nicolas Maduro.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the website of the trans-regional newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi, thousands of people participated in a demonstration in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, on Tuesday, demanding the release and return of their country’s President, Nicolas Maduro.

Participants in the rally marched chanting “Venezuela needs Nicolas.” Some protesters also held pictures of Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, who was kidnapped with him.

Many attendees wore red clothes and widely waved national flags.

One of the people present at the rally told AFP: We feel confusion, sadness, and anger.

He considered Maduro’s arrest a factor in the presence of people in the streets, adding: After the anger, despair, and uncertainty, hope is still alive in the streets and in the struggle, and sooner or later they will be forced to release our president.
