According to the “Bernama” news agency, nationals of other countries such as Syrians, Tunisians, Egyptians, Spaniards, Libyans, and Pakistanis were also present in the “Freedom for Palestine” rally.
Participants carried placards in support of Palestine and waved the Palestinian flag, while shouts of “Israel, shame on you” filled the air. A number of prominent Malaysian figures including the Minister of Communications and Digital and the Vice President of Malaysia were also present at the event.
A Malaysian official said: “We must reject Israel, we must stop Israeli funds because they cannot do anything without American support, and we must defend Palestine.”
