PNN – The Israel Airports Authority announced on Wednesday that three private planes parked at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv suffered “severe” damage after being hit by debris from Iranian missiles that were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the damage occurred over the past few days, but no details were provided about the owners of the aircraft.
Commercial flights have been suspended since the start of US- and Israeli-led airstrikes on Iran on February 28, which led to Tehran’s retaliatory attacks on the occupied territories.
There are limited flights into and out of the occupied territories, and Ben Gurion Airport is also used by the Israeli and United States militaries.
