PNN – An informed source in the Palestinian resistance said that the Zionist regime is trying to prevent an agreement by setting new conditions.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this knowledgeable source added in an interview with the Palestine Al-Yum network: Negotiations to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip are continuing and the coming days and hours are very crucial.
He added: Despite the existence of a positive and serious atmosphere for reaching an agreement, the Zionist regime is trying to block the path of this agreement by setting new conditions.
This informed Palestinian source said: The resistance groups have shown a lot of flexibility and have put all their efforts to reach an agreement to end the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
He clarified: Any agreement with the Zionist regime must ensure the interests of the nation and the Palestinian resistance.
Earlier, following the publication of news about progress in the process of negotiations to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, a senior official in the Palestinian resistance, referring to the details of the proposed agreement, announced its implementation in 2 stages.

One of the senior officials of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip announced in an interview with Al-Mayadeen network: The Doha meetings between the American and Israeli parties and the Egyptian and Qatari mediators are focused on breaking out of the stalemate in the ceasefire negotiations.
He said: “It is clear that there has been significant progress in the negotiations and (the Israeli regime) has made its demands dependent on the release of 34 of its prisoners and is ready to withdraw from populated areas.”
This senior official of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip also announced the details of the proposed ceasefire agreement: the first phase of the ceasefire is 42 days. This stage includes the release of Israeli women, children, the elderly, and female soldiers, and in exchange for the release of a large number of Palestinian prisoners with heavy sentences and life imprisonment.
This Palestinian official continued: Rafah crossing will be reopened in the first stage, but the issue of monitoring it has not been resolved so far.
Previously, an official of the Hamas movement, in a conversation with Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper, while announcing the continuation of talks on reaching a cease-fire agreement in the Gaza Strip, announced the resolution of the majority of points of disagreement.
Earlier, an Egyptian official said in an interview with the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar that Benjamin Netanyahu’s position regarding the Gaza ceasefire is now softer than ever.
He, who participated in the Cairo talks on Gaza, added: Netanyahu agreed to many issues that he had reservations about or was against and the time to announce a ceasefire in Gaza is very close.
This Egyptian official, whom Al-Akhbar did not name, said: The events in Syria led to a short break in the Gaza negotiations, but these negotiations have resumed.
He also said that Qatar and Türkiye played a wider role in these negotiations, which have almost reached the final stages.
