PNN – Following the release of toxic hydrogen sulfide gas from the sewage treatment plant in the Zionist city of Yavneh in occupied Palestine, dozens of residents of the city were transferred to medical centers with symptoms of poisoning.
Hebrew-language media reported that a number of residents were taken to hospitals with symptoms such as burning eyes, a feeling of suffocation, and breathing problems, and reported a pungent and unpleasant odor spreading throughout the Zionist city.
According to experts from the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection, toxic hydrogen sulfide gas has leaked from the city’s central wastewater treatment plant and, for reasons that have not yet been determined, has put the health of its residents at risk.
Citing monitoring data and public complaints, the ministry has asked the management of this facility to carry out technical updates after the complex returns to normal conditions and conduct a specialized and detailed investigation into the cause of the accident to prevent similar incidents from recurring.
This incident occurred a day before, the Israeli Water and Sewage Company had announced a disruption in the sewage collection systems in the Zionist settlement of Bani Barak, an event that led to sewage flowing into the streets of the city.
Experts have stated that such incidents are unprecedented in this region and that there is a possibility of a connection between these events, although their root cause has not yet been officially announced.
