PNN – US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed an American-Lebanese businessman, Massad Boulos, as his adviser on Middle East affairs.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Sputnik, US President-elect Trump said that Massad Boulos will become the senior adviser on Arab and Middle East affairs in the new administration.
Trump wrote on the Truth social network: Massad is a lawyer and businessman with international experience. He plays a key role in building new alliances with the Arab-American community.
According to Trump, Boulos is known as a supporter of peace in the Middle East and will defend American interests in the region. I am happy to have him in my team.
Boulos, who is the father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany, played an important role in Trump’s victory during the campaign by meeting with Arab American and Muslim leaders.
This new appointment reflects the ongoing efforts of the President-elect of the United States to engage with various communities in this country’s society.
