Trump chose a real estate businessman as his Middle East representative

PNN – US President-elect Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he has chosen real estate tycoon Steven Witkoff as his special representative for Middle East affairs.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Reuters, Witkoff is a real estate investor, owner and founder of the Witkoff Group, which started in 1977.

In a statement, Trump said Witkoff would be a “strong voice for peace” in the disputed region.

In this statement on Tuesday evening, it is stated: Steve is a highly recognized leader in business and philanthropy and has made every project and community he has been involved with stronger and more successful. Steve will be a strong voice for peace and will make us all proud.

Trump’s first friend Witkoff, who is always his golfing companion and is often described as Trump’s best friend and a “special guy.”

Wittkoff, a Manhattan-based real estate investor, was in court when Trump was indicted on 34 criminal charges in May. He was playing golf with Trump in West Palm Beach when the Secret Service identified a second suspect who tried to assassinate Trump.
