PNN – Politico reported that Trump will form an alliance, involving Singapore, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the Israeli regime to confront China in the fields of minerals and artificial intelligence.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Politico stated that the administration of Donald Trump is forming an alliance to counter China’s control over critical minerals and its growing power as a hub for artificial intelligence.
The American outlet claimed that for this purpose, the Trump administration plans to establish an alliance today, Friday, with the participation of Singapore, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and the Israeli regime.
The aim of forming this alliance is described as reducing the West’s dependence on resources and supply chains dominated by China and creating an independent framework for the production of advanced technologies.
According to the report, the member countries of the U.S.-led alliance were selected based on their central role in mineral production and industrial capacity. Australia and Japan are considered key players in the rare earths market, South Korea and Singapore for hosting advanced companies in semiconductors and artificial intelligence, and the Israeli regime for its defense technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Politico also noted in its report that the Trump administration intends to expand the scope of this alliance in the near future.
