Trump emphasized that immigration policies have destroyed all achievements and weakened the standard of living of many in America.

The US President said: I will revoke the citizenship of immigrants who endanger the internal stability of the United States.

This marks an escalation of his anti-immigration policies during his second term, a period that has been marked by a massive campaign to deport immigrants.

Earlier, the Trump administration announced on Thursday that all permanent residency (green cards) for people from more than a dozen countries would be reviewed following the shooting of National Guard members in Washington.

Joseph Edlow, the director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, wrote on the “X” platform: A full and thorough review of all permanent residents (green cards) of all foreign nationals from any suspect country has been ordered.

Trump had previously classified 19 countries, including Afghanistan, the country of immigration suspected in Wednesday’s shooting, as “suspicious countries.”
