Trump: If Zelensky doesn’t act immediately, he won’t have a country left.
According to Sputnik, US President Donald Trump wrote on his social media account “Truth Social” on Wednesday: “Zelensky (President of Ukraine) is a dictator who has remained in power without elections and he better act quickly; otherwise he will have no country left.”
The US President continued: “Zelensky has abused the US in receiving $350 billion for a war he cannot win; $175 billion of that has been lost. The war in Ukraine can never be resolved without the US. The US has spent $200 billion more than Europe.
This is while US President Donald Trump previously said that Ukraine “should not have started a war with Russia.”
Rejecting Ukraine’s concerns about not being invited to these talks, he said that Kyiv could have reached an agreement with Russia 3 years ago.
The US President said: “I heard they said ‘we were not invited’; you had 3 years of this opportunity and you should have finished it.” You shouldn’t have started it (the war) in the first place. You could have agreed.
