Trump insults Somali nationals: Somalia stinks.

From the Guardian, Donald Trump lashed out at the Somali community in the US at the end of a cabinet meeting that lasted more than two hours.

He recently ended the protected status of Somali nationals living in Minnesota and has repeatedly belittled Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar.

Trump continued his insults on Tuesday, calling the Minnesota congresswoman “scum”.

Ilhan Omar was born in Somalia but has been a US citizen since 2000 after arriving in the US as a refugee.

Trump said of Somalis living in the US: “I don’t want them in our country. They say it’s not politically correct, I don’t care. I don’t want them in our country. There’s a reason because their country is not good. Their country stinks, and we don’t want them in our country.”

As the president continued to denigrate the Somali community, members of his cabinet pounded on the table in agreement with his remarks.

Trump said, “These are people who do nothing but complain. When they come from hell, they complain and do nothing but complain. We don’t want them in our country. Let them go back to where they came from and fix things.”

According to IRNA, US President Donald Trump has previously repeated his critical attacks on Muslim US Representative Ilhan Omar, targeting her Somali ethnicity and telling the Democratic representative to get out of the United States.

Omar, a Muslim U.S. representative, has previously been criticized by Republicans for what were considered mocking remarks about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and has been threatened with punishment and dismissal from his duties on the committee where he serves.

Following Omar’s comments about the assassination of the conservative activist, Republican Representative Nancy Mays of the US House of Representatives attempted to remove the Democratic representative from his committee duties for his comments about the assassinated conservative activist.

Charlie Kirk, a 31-year-old conservative political activist and founder of the group Turning Point USA and a supporter of the Israeli regime, was shot while speaking to students at Utah Valley University in Utah and died despite being taken to the hospital.

In response to Kirk’s assassination, Omar said that Trump was to blame for his assassination because he incited violence.
