Trump looking to use Elon Musk in his possible administration

PNN – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday during a wide-ranging speech in which he outlined his economic vision for the United States that if he wins the November 5 election, he will form a government efficiency commission chaired by his billionaire supporter Elon Musk.

According to Pakistan News Network’s Thursday night report from “Reuters”, informed officials have announced that the former US president has been discussing the idea of a government efficiency commission with his aides for weeks. However, this is the first time Trump has publicly endorsed the idea during a speech at the Economic Club of New York on Thursday.

It was also the first time Trump said that Musk had agreed to head the agency. He did not provide specific details of how such a commission would function, except that he would come up with a plan to eliminate “fraud and improper payments” within six months of its formation.

Trump said: I will create a Commission on Government Efficiency charged with conducting a financial audit and a thorough evaluation of the performance of the federal government and making recommendations for major reforms.

Recently, Trump expressed doubts about the possibility of Elon Musk’s prominent presence in his administration, saying that Elon Musk is too busy to hold public office, but said that this American entrepreneur could have an advisory role in his administration.

Since the beginning of the US presidential election, Musk, who is the head of large companies such as SpaceX, Tesla and X, has strongly criticized US Democratic President Joe Biden and the former candidate of this party in this election and supported Trump’s policies. He also paid $100,000 to the victims of the shooting at a Trump campaign rally in Pennsylvania in July.

The Wall Street Journal also reported in July that Elon Musk spent $45 million a month to support Trump’s campaign, but the American billionaire denied the report.
