PNN – President-elect Donald Trump announced in a statement that he has chosen Kash Patel as the head of the FBI (Federal Police).
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Business Standard news website, the president-elect of the United States wrote in a message on his social media called Truth Social: I am proud to announce that Kash Patel will serve as the next Director of the FBI.
Trump also mentioned the 44-year-old Indian-born Patel as a skilled lawyer, investigator and model American warrior who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending justice and protecting the American people.

According to the Business Standard news website, Patel has experience working in the previous Trump administration in the positions of the executive deputy of the US National Intelligence Organization and also the director of the counterterrorism office of the US National Security Council.
Donald Trump, the Republican candidate and former president of the United States, won the presidential election on November 5, 2024 in this country over his democratic rival and was able to return to the White House as the 47th president of the United States after a non-consecutive term.
Trump inflicted a heavy defeat on the Democrats by winning all the key and decisive states known as the battleground states of northern Arizona, in the swing states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Nevada.
After the votes are counted and certified in the various states, the Electoral College will meet on December 17 to officially cast their ballots and send the results to Congress. The candidate who gets 270 electoral votes or more becomes the president.
These votes will be officially collected by Congress on January 6, and the new US president will be sworn in on January 20, 2025.
