According to the report of Pakistan News Network, US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday night local time that SoftBank, OpenAI, and Oracle are set to join forces to launch a new company called Stargate, a massive $500 billion private-sector investment project in artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States.

The President of the United States, who unveiled his program in relation to artificial intelligence, along with CEOs of technology companies such as Softbank, OpenAI, and Oracle; with this action, he officially leaves the hands of artificial intelligence open and focuses on the technological leadership of the United States of America in the global competition.

The US president then promised that the project would create 100,000 jobs and that the initial focus would be on energy infrastructure.

Trump said Stargate would build “physical and virtual infrastructure to power the next generation of AI,” including data centers across the country, calling it “the largest AI infrastructure project in history.”

Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, who was present at the event, said the first data project is currently under construction in Texas.

AI leaders have been sounding the alarm for months that more data centers — as well as the chips and power and water resources to run them — are needed to power their AI ambitions in the coming years.

Oracle is one of the largest data center operators in the United States. SoftBank also has the deep financial resources needed to finance the expansion of its AI infrastructure, which is expected to cost billions of dollars.

Oracle shares rose 3% in after-market trading following the comments.

The CEO of Softbank also said that the company will invest 100 billion dollars in the field of artificial intelligence.

According to the managers of these technology companies, one of the biggest effects of artificial intelligence will be in the field of medical care, and among other things, it will enable patients in remote areas to connect with cancer specialists in large medical centers.
