According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing France 24, Carlos Fernando Galán, mayor of Bogota, the capital of Colombia, announced that pro-Palestinian protesters attacked the US embassy in the city.
He called the Palestinian supporters “criminals,” saying some of them attacked the embassy wearing hooded clothing and carrying incendiary devices. He said four police officers were injured in the face, legs, and hands in the incident.

Trump: Crime in the US capital is higher than in Colombia and Mexico
Colombia’s Defense Ministry has released images of chaos and disorder outside the embassy in Washington. Jaime Moreno, a spokesman for a protest group calling itself the “Popular Association,” organized the protests to denounce the policies of US President Donald Trump.
He emphasized: We have demonstrated for our sovereignty and to stop American intervention and against everything that America is involved in, from the genocide of the Palestinians to the intervention in Latin America and the threats it makes against Venezuela in the Caribbean.
The group has been demonstrating in various parts of Bogota since Monday, but has not yet turned violent. Colombian President Gustavo Pedro, a supporter of Palestine, wrote on the social media platform X that he had issued a maximum alert for the US embassy.
While agreeing with Petro’s policies in support of Palestine, the group called on the government in a statement to create an “anti-imperialist” front.
