Trump reveals more details about secret weapon used in Venezuela invasion

PNN – US President Donald Trump arrived at Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina on Friday and spoke about an unknown American weapon.

US President Donald Trump praised a secret American weapon he called “disruptive” and could disrupt the defense systems of Russia and China, during a meeting with Special Forces who kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from the country on Friday.

This is the first time Trump has spoken about the weapon at a public event; he had previously revealed only a few details in various interviews.

According to Al Jazeera Net, Trump spoke to soldiers at Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina, referring to the disabling of a large part of Venezuela’s defense systems during the invasion of the country’s territory in the January 3 military operation in Venezuela and the arrest and kidnapping of Maduro and his wife, and said about the paralysis of Venezuela’s defense forces: Even they themselves are talking about “disruptors” because they couldn’t shoot anything.

Fort Bragg is home to about 50,000 active duty military personnel and is located in a state with intense political competition.

What was the secret weapon used to capture Maduro?

But the Russian newspaper Vsevolod has published an investigative article by military expert Alexander Timokhin about the American operation that led to the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro at the Forte Tiona base in Caracas.

In this article, the author expresses skepticism about what has been published about this weapon and believes that the weakness of the air defense was likely due to a lack of training and discipline in the Venezuelan forces, as well as the decisive air superiority of the United States.

More serious hypotheses

Timokhin explains that field testimonies have opened up more serious hypotheses. A Venezuelan military official reported that US forces used a weapon that produced a “very strong sound wave” that caused severe headaches, nosebleeds and vomiting, and that some bodies had ruptured internal organs.

American military bloggers hypothesized the use of long-range acoustic systems (LRAD) or a microwave device called an “active deterrent system” (ADS).

Timokhin rejects the hypothesis of using an active excretory system, explaining that the effects of “sound waves” are scientifically limited to causing superficial thermal pain on the skin and, in the worst case, can cause burns, but do not rupture internal organs.

The system is also bulky, energy-intensive, and used to protect specific installations, making it impractical to impact hundreds of soldiers on a large base.

The important point is that the speed of attack and the variety of firepower would disintegrate any organized defense within minutes, reducing resistance to scattered and ineffective responses.

Hypothesis related to Hadra munitions/missiles with vacuum warheads

The author believes that the most likely hypothesis is related to the type of ammunition used. American Black Hawk helicopters supported the landing operation with heavy fire, including Hedra 70 missiles and machine guns, and possibly Hellfire missiles.

Some Hedra missiles are equipped with warheads that detonate before impact, which spreads the impact and creates shrapnel and explosive pressure that could explain the reported internal damage.

However, given the dispersion of Venezuelan forces in buildings, the author raises two other possibilities:

The use of suicide attack drones similar to the American “Lux” model, which is close to the Iranian “Shahed 136” model, so that airstrikes with helicopters are combined with precision drone strikes.

Using a modified version of the Hedra missiles with a solid-fuel warhead or a vacuum (heat-pressure) warhead that can cause internal rupture even for those sheltering behind a wall.
