Trump suggests revoking ABC’s broadcasting license.

Donald Trump commented after the reporter asked him about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal during a press conference in the Oval Office.

Trump said, “I think ABC should be revoked because your news is very fake and very wrong.”

Trump praised Brendan Carr, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, saying: “He should look into this.”

Carr had previously announced on social media that he met with Trump in Florida a few days ago over the weekend.

This is the second time in recent months that Trump has targeted ABC.

Trump has previously called on the commission to revoke the licenses of ABC and NBC television stations and fine them for using the public airwaves.

The Federal Communications Commission is an independent agency that issues eight-year licenses to broadcast stations, not networks. The agency can revoke a license using criteria that are rarely used, although such an action has not occurred in more than four decades.
