Trump targeted by investigators.
The United States Secret Service (USSS) has discovered an elevated hunting lodge with a direct view of Trump’s Air Force One landing area at Palm Beach International Airport in Florida, sparking a federal investigation.
The structure was discovered during advanced security preparations ahead of Trump’s return to West Palm Beach, Florida, according to the news, which was first reported by Fox News.
FBI Director Kesh Patel confirmed the discovery of the structure in a statement to Newsweek on Sunday afternoon, saying the agency has since taken the lead in the investigation and is deploying resources to gather all evidence from the scene.
The publication noted that no one has been seen at the site and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Trump, who survived two assassination attempts during his campaign, has received numerous death threats since taking office in January 2025, a situation that has led to increased Secret Service protection for him.
The discovery of a hunting lodge with a direct view of the landing area of the US President’s Air Force One has raised urgent security alarms among federal agencies coordinating protection, according to the report, and shows that threats against Trump continue to be made in various locations and ways.
The hunting lodge was built months ago, according to law enforcement sources.
Anthony Gugliemi, the US Secret Service’s communications director, said in a statement: “While specific details about the items found at the hunting lodge cannot be disclosed, no individuals or groups have been arrested in connection with the case.”
