Trump: The US economy will collapse in the next year.
Donald Trump, the leading Republican candidate for the 2024 election, predicted in an interview that the American economy will collapse within the next year.
He stated that if he is elected as president again, he does not want to have a presidency like Herbert Hoover’s.
Herbert Hoover is the 31st President of the United States. He came to power when America had stable economic conditions, but later this term of his presidency was evaluated as the beginning of a great record in American history.
In this interview, Trump criticized the country’s economic situation but also confirmed some positive aspects of the economy.
He pointed out that we have a fragile economy and the only reason for that is doing tedious work.
“I hope when that collapse happens it’s in the next 12 months because I don’t want to be Herbert Hoover,” Trump asserted. The only president I don’t want to be in his place.
Meanwhile, the state of the US economy in 2023 was far from the forecasts of economists. The American economy faced several crises this year: the unprecedented increase in the inflation rate and the chaotic situation of the housing market.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden wrote in a post on X channel three days ago: Donald Trump’s campaign is only about him and not about you and the American people.
He had compared Trump with Hoover in the past. Last month, Biden said that during Trump’s four-year presidency, he was the only president other than Herbert Hoover who saw more people lose their jobs. And that’s why I often refer to him as “Donald Herbert Hoover Trump.”
A few days ago, Trump presented a dark picture of the United States in a speech to his supporters in the state of Iowa. He called America a collapsing country surrounded by terrorists and immigrants from mental asylums who have poured into the US-Mexico border.
Attacking Biden, Trump pointed out that nothing has gotten better during the presidency of stupid Joe Biden. Everything is messed up.
