Donald Trump, the leading Republican candidate for the 2024 election, called the border bill negotiated in the Senate “a disaster waiting to happen” in a post on the social network Truth Social.
In this post, he called the southern borders of the country “the worst” in the “history of the world” and claimed that another terrorist attack may happen from this border in America.
Trump added: “Just 3 years ago, we had the strongest and most secure border in American history.” Today we are waiting for a disaster to happen. This is the worst border in the history of the world and a painful memory in our great country. There is currently a 100% chance that a major terrorist attack will occur on American soil.
In the continuation of his message to the Republicans of Congress, he wrote that they should avoid reaching a bipartisan agreement centered on the southern border.
In another post, Trump wrote: A bad border deal is much worse than a border deal. This border becomes a “weapon of mass destruction” and America has changed from a country that had the best borders in the history of the world, to a country with the worst borders in the history of the world, within 3 years.
