Trump threatens the International Court of Justice to protect Israel.
According to Israeli media, US President Donald Trump has threatened the International Criminal Court (ICC) to stop its investigation into the Israeli regime and the United States.
Trump has announced that he will continue to stand with Israel in this international legal campaign and will boycott the institution if cases related to Israeli leaders and soldiers are opened in this international institution.
The US President has demanded immunity from prosecution against the United States and the Israeli regime, from all charges, including the cancellation of current charges against the leaders and possible future investigations.
President Trump has sent this request to the International Criminal Court and has ordered changes to the court’s founding document.
According to sources close to the White House, Trump also emphasized that he is not willing to see Israeli or American soldiers who fought on the front lines being tried in the International Criminal Court.
The White House explained that if the court does not meet President Trump’s conditions, severe sanctions will be imposed that will significantly harm the ability of the court and its judges to continue working.
According to IRNA: Previously, the Israeli spy service, Mossad, had publicly threatened to assassinate judges of the International Court of Justice to prevent the issuance of verdicts against the leaders of the regime, including Benjamin Netanyahu.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) is under the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
