Trump: Venezuela agrees to accept illegal immigrants into US.
According to Reuters, US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that Venezuela has agreed to accept all illegal Venezuelan immigrants in the United States and pay for their transfer.
According to Reuters, the US President wrote in a post on his social media account Truth Social: Venezuela has agreed to accept all illegal Venezuelan immigrants who are in the United States.
Trump added that Venezuela has also agreed to provide the means to transfer them.
US President Donald Trump’s envoy Richard Grenell said that he would return to Washington with six prisoners held in the country after meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas.
Trump administration officials had previously claimed that one of the main goals of Grenell’s trip to Venezuela was to free American prisoners held in Caracas.
Grenell, without naming the six prisoners, posted a photo of himself on a plane with them. The image shows six people wearing the bright blue uniforms of Venezuelan prisons.
