PNN – The President of the United States said that we are withdrawing the National Guard from the cities of Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera network, Donald Trump announced that America is in the process of withdrawing National Guard forces from the cities of Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland.

Earlier, Trump had ordered the deployment of U.S. National Guard forces in some areas of the country due to injustice and crime.

Some time ago, he also claimed that the Los Angeles police did not act as aggressively as our soldiers, while local officials say that deploying the National Guard has led to an escalation of unrest rather than calming the situation.

In another part of his remarks regarding insecurity in the country, the U.S. President said: If necessary, I will deploy the National Guard in New York City.

These statements by Trump come as the Washington Post newspaper on October 31, quoting American officials, announced that the U.S. government has extended the mission of the Army National Guard in Washington D.C., the capital of this country, until the end of February 2026.
