PNN – U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 38 percent — the lowest level since the start of his second term.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Reuters, a joint Reuters/Ipsos poll shows Trump’s approval has fallen to 38 percent, the lowest figure since his second term began on January 20, 2025.
The survey, conducted from November 14 to 17, found that 60 percent of respondents disapproved of the president’s performance.
This is the first time Trump’s approval rating has dipped below 40 percent during his second term; in January, the figure had reached 47 percent.
Rising prices and the administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case — involving the disgraced billionaire and sex trafficker — were cited as the main reasons for the decline. Only 20 percent of respondents said the investigation was being conducted properly, while 70 percent believe the government is hiding information related to Epstein’s clients.
Last week, Democrats released a set of Epstein’s emails which they say indicate Trump was aware of the financier’s criminal activities — a claim the White House has dismissed as an attempt to undermine the president.
A total of 1,017 Americans participated in the poll.
