In this regard, in the agreement with Japan, Trump has reduced the tariff on imported cars from this country from 27.5% to 15% and announced a similar rate for other goods. The US President also announced: We are finalizing a trade agreement with China, and described these negotiations as being on track for completion.
In another part of his speech, he said, I would like to reduce oil prices further and announced energy agreements with some Asian countries.
Referring to trade talks with Europe, Trump said: We are in serious negotiations with the European Union, and if this bloc opens up to American companies, there will be lower tariffs on it.
He also emphasized that the European Union must pay for the military aid we provide to Ukraine.
