PNN – US President Donald Trump recently angered the country’s officials with his rhetoric about Panama, Greenland and Canada; An idea that can reflect his destructive goals to expand the American territory and interfere in the affairs of other countries.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the CNN news channel wrote in a report in this regard: It seems that the president-elect of the United States is interested in expanding the territory of the United States. If he is serious about this goal, he can do something like the purchase of Louisiana (from France in 1803) and the deal to purchase Alaska from Russia (1867).
Last week, Trump drew the ire of Canadian officials by proposing to make Canada the 51st US state. He also threatened to retake the Panama Canal and on Sunday reiterated his desire to buy Greenland as part of Denmark.
CNN wrote: It is not clear whether Trump is serious in these proposals or they are just rhetoric aimed at attracting the attention of the media or strengthening his position. In some cases, his provocative statements are the beginning of his attempts to make some deals.

In response to Trump’s threats, Panamanians set fire to the American flag
In fact, Trump is using his threat to take back the Panama Canal in order to threaten the country to reduce the fines on American ships that use the waterway to cross between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
CNN wrote: Trump on Sunday described the ownership of Greenland as strictly necessary for the purposes of national security and freedom. His idea to restore Panama, which he called “an important national asset,” echoes his nationalist agenda, often described as “America First.”
In his weekend speech in Arizona, Trump also emphasized his plans to designate drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations; an action that can be a prelude to the use of military force on Mexican soil. Trump has threatened to bomb fentanyl labs and send in Special Forces to take out drug cartel leaders, an attack that could undermine Mexico’s sovereignty and strain relations with the United States’ biggest trading partner.
One of Trump’s advisers said his concern about dealing with American companies in Panama is likely due to the fact that “trade has always been Trump’s priority,” CNN reported. Pressure on Panama to reduce fines on US ships will help offset higher product costs due to Trump’s tariffs on foreign goods.
According to CNN, Trump’s threat stems from his other provocative statements to impose 25 percent tariffs on goods imported from Canada and Mexico, which shows his approach to negotiations with foreign leaders.
