Trump’s vice president visits Israel for ongoing Gaza ceasefire negotiations.

The Israeli TV channel 12 reported today that US President Donald Trump’s vice president, JD Vance, will travel to Israel on Monday to follow up on the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire plan.

The media outlet wrote that he will discuss the transition to the second phase of Trump’s plan and its implementation with senior Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The meeting will also discuss the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, the release of the bodies of the remaining Israeli prisoners in Gaza, and the transition to the second phase of Trump’s plan.

Vance’s visit comes at a time when the Israeli regime is using every excuse to violate the ceasefire agreement.

Israeli officials have said that they will prevent the entry of heavy machinery and excavation equipment for reconstruction until the bodies of all remaining Israeli prisoners in Gaza are released, but Hamas, citing technical problems, has announced that heavy machinery and excavation equipment are needed to accelerate the process of finding the bodies of Israelis buried under the rubble.

Israeli media also reported that, in addition to releasing all 20 living Israeli prisoners, the Israeli regime has received 10 bodies out of a total of 28 bodies of Israeli prisoners remaining in Gaza from the Red Cross forces.

Hamas has also announced that finding the remaining bodies requires more time and equipment.
