PNN – The meeting between the US President and some leaders of Islamic and Arab countries was held on the sidelines of the United Nations meeting in New York.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera Qatar, US President Donald Trump and leaders of Islamic and Arab countries are discussing ways to end the war in Gaza at a meeting.

Earlier, the Axios news outlet confirmed the meeting, writing that it would take place a few days before Trump hosts Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on September 29.

According to some media outlets, the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Türkiye have been invited to participate in the meeting.

After meeting with Trump, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the meeting was very productive.

In addition to Erdogan, Trump’s meeting with leaders of Islamic and Arab countries was attended by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed.
