PNN – The results of a poll from the key state of Pennsylvania, less than a week before the 2024 US presidential election, show that “Donald Trump” has a 1% lead over Democratic rival Kamala Harris.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Newsweek magazine, Trump is leading by one percentage point in the most recent poll conducted by Quinnipiac University, with 47 percent of the total vote to Harris’ 46 percent.
Meanwhile, the results of the survey conducted in this state in mid-October showed the opposite.
Newsweek, however, emphasizes that this key state, with 19 Electoral College votes, is still swinging with less than a week to go until the 2024 presidential election.
The results of the Quinnipiac University poll also show that among male voters, 57 percent chose Trump; while 55 percent of women said they would vote for Harris.

Harris: Trump is capable of anything to challenge the election results
This survey shows that voters were split on which of the two parties’ candidates would do better on specific challenges, with 52 percent saying Trump could handle the Middle East conflict, compared to 43 percent saying Harris was the better choice.
45% of Pennsylvanians also believe that Harris is honest, compared to 41% of Trump.
This publication further acknowledges: At a time when the United States is more divided than ever, more than half of voters agree on one issue. And that date, November 5, is the day of the election, which, according to the voters, can become an incomparable turning point in the history of the United States.
Newsweek has further emphasized that Pennsylvania has always been a key battleground during the American election campaigns, and in the current period, both candidates have tried to attract the votes of voters in the predominantly Democratic areas of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, as well as rural areas, by holding numerous rallies. Electoral votes of this state have been in favor of the final winner in 48 of the last 59 elections. Joe Biden won the 2020 election in this state as well, but in 2016 it was Trump who won most of the votes in this state.
Because of this, Harris also considered this state very important in combination with other swing states and Michigan and Wisconsin, which will give her 270 Electoral College votes.
Pennsylvania seems to be the most likely state that can change in her favor for Trump, who must win at least one of these Midwestern states.
According to Newsweek, the state, with its higher percentage of white voters without a college degree, is more favorable for Trump than Michigan and Wisconsin.
The 2024 US presidential election is scheduled to be held on November 5 of this year, and the results of the polls so far indicate a very tight competition between the two candidates of the Democratic and Republican parties.
