Turkish Foreign Minister: Israel’s attack on Iran is a clear violation of international law.
Hakan Fidan, in a joint press conference with his Pakistani counterpart Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today, referred to the situation in the region caused by the Zionist regime’s aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and added: “We believe that these attacks have resulted in a complete violation of international law and have put the entire region and the world at risk.”
Fidan added that Israel’s aggression against Iran is a fatal blow to the global nuclear non-proliferation regime.
He expressed hope that the ceasefire between the parties will remain permanent and we have conveyed messages to both parties that nuclear talks should be resumed.
Hakan Fidan announced that Turkey is in contact with Pakistan and other parties in this regard.
He emphasized: Turkey believes that this Israeli aggression against Iran is an attempt to divert global attention from the Palestinian genocide and the situation in Gaza.
Fidan stated that he and his country’s defense minister discussed and reviewed the latest regional developments and the development of bilateral cooperation with Pakistan.
New roadmap for Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul train to be developed
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan also announced in the press conference that bilateral cooperation with Turkey in the economic, investment, defense, anti-terrorism and social fields will be further strengthened.
Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, referring to the ECO container train, said that the Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul ITI train will be resumed.
He announced that the delegations of the three countries will soon meet to develop a new roadmap for the ECO freight train.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister said that the meeting of the joint security, intelligence and defense committees with Turkey will be held in the third week of July in Islamabad.
According to this report, Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler also met with the Commander of the Pakistani Air Force today.
The Turkish Foreign Minister said that they will also meet with the Prime Minister and the Commander of the Pakistani Army.
