PNN – Turkey’s Minister of Defense announced that Iran dealt a heavy blow to the PJAK terrorist group during the 12-day Israeli attack on Tehran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the website Yetkin Report, Yaşar Güler, Turkey’s Defense Minister, stated at a local meeting that during Israel’s attack on Tehran, the terrorist groups PJAK and the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) moved their forces from Iraq to Iran, mistakenly believing that the Islamic Republic would be defeated and the regime overthrown.

He revealed that Turkey cooperated with Iran on intelligence regarding PJAK’s movements and added that, as a result of this intelligence cooperation, Iran launched heavy operations that inflicted severe damage on the terrorist organization.
Minister Güler added that during Israel’s attack, PJAK revealed its true face to the Iranian people.
Regarding the disarmament of the PKK, General Güler stated that Turkey has destroyed this terrorist organization and that their disarmament process will be carried out according to Turkey’s determined methods.
He also referred to the position of Syrian Kurdish forces and their negotiations with Damascus and the United States, saying that talks with the U.S. regarding the integration of Kurdish forces into the Syrian army are ongoing. He noted that American positions have shifted and disagreements have been reduced. Turkey has made its stance clear: integration must occur individually, and their inclusion as a separate unit within the army will not be accepted.
