PNN – Rising tensions between Israel and Egypt have prompted the U.S. ambassador in Tel Aviv to feel at risk.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Russia Today, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee plans to travel to Egypt amid escalating strains between Tel Aviv and Cairo, where he will hold talks with Egyptian officials.
American officials told *The New York Times* that discussions will focus on the war in Gaza.
This marks the first official visit by a U.S. ambassador in Israel to Egypt in decades.

On Sunday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, during a visit to the country’s military academy, stressed that no one can act aggressively against Egypt. He underlined that public awareness of regional developments is crucial, as the region is passing through a critical stage and every move must be carefully thought out and planned.
Earlier, Osama Abdelkhalek, Egypt’s representative at the UN Security Council, warned that Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip threaten the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, which has lasted for nearly five decades.
He added that the situation poses dangerous consequences for the region, stressing that Israel’s intentions are no longer hidden, as Tel Aviv seeks to displace Palestinians from Gaza.
