UAE promises to the Israeli regime about the future of Gaza.

Yair Golan, leader of the leftist Democratic Party, one of the opposition parties to Netanyahu’s cabinet in Israel, announced that he met with Abdullah bin Zayed, the UAE’s foreign minister, a few months ago, and that the high-ranking Emirati official told him that “the UAE is ready to take action to create and finance an alternative government system to Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”

These statements come at a time when reports had previously been published about the UAE’s support for the Israeli regime in eliminating Hamas in Gaza, and regional analysts had stated that the UAE, in line with its traditional policy against Islamists in the Arab world, is seeking to join Tel Aviv in destroying Hamas.

It is noteworthy that the UAE has not only promised Israeli government officials that it will help in governing Gaza after destroying Hamas, but has also pointed this out to opposition figures in the regime.
