Ukraine attacks continue despite Putin’s ceasefire announcement.
According to Russia Today, Donetsk officials announced that Ukrainian armed forces bombed the city of Gorlovka.
The Ukrainian attack took place on Easter morning despite Russia’s declaration of a ceasefire.
This comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a halt to all military operations against Ukraine for about two days yesterday.
The Russian presidential office quoted Putin as saying: “Russian forces must be ready to repel any possible violation of the ceasefire and Ukrainian movements.” The ceasefire will last from Saturday to Monday on the occasion of Easter.
